Happy Monday loves! Today is another chance to start your week off on a positive note! I can’t believe it is already going to be Easter this Sunday. I am really looking forward to enjoying time with my family. To wrap up this weekend in a sentence, we had a blast!! Friday I was ready to celebrate because my third grade class finished their first week of Language Arts PSSA testing. If you are unfamiliar with what that is, it is the state test that we take each year to determine where students are academically as compared to other students their age in Pennsylvania. Third grade is the first year that it is taken in PA, so it is quite the challenge for my hard little workers. But, they all tried their best and persevered, and that makes me really happy. To celebrate, Brian and I headed out on Friday to a local craft brewery called Prism with some great friends. The food and company was amazing! It was the perfect end to our work week.
Saturday, we got to spend time with both of our moms, and Brian’s dad. Luckily for Brian and I, my mom and his parents get along great! We are very fortunate for that and we love spending time with them. We all met up for dinner at the place where my bridal shower was held and it was delish. I wore this outfit on Saturday as it was a casual dinner out. This cardigan is so versatile and comes in a bunch of colors. It’s lightweight and perfect for layering. I love turquoise and this necklace is the perfect pop of color and a makes a big statement to dress any outfit up! The heels can add spice to any outfit and also come in 12 colors. They are a steal under $100! Last, I love an eyelet detail and this tote doesn’t disappoint. The detailing really makes the piece stand out and would be a perfect accessory to any spring or summer outfit
We ended our weekend doing one of our favorite things, going to the ballpark. It was Phillies opening weekend and we headed down to the stadium to catch a game. If you follow me on insta then you may have already caught a few glimpses of it. We were very lucky because it ended up being the most beautiful day to spend at Citizen’s Bank Park. To top it all off, the Phils took the win over the Nationals in the bottom of the 9th.
What did you do over the weekend? I love hearing from all of you and it means the world to me that you take time to stop by my little slice of the web!
