Good morning loves and Happy Hump Day! Today I’m sharing my new series that will be launching next week. I thought it’s  important to explain a little background before the start of this series and why I chose to write it. So, without further ado, I present to you the “Dating Diaries”.  If you don’t know already, I am now happily married. I just recently married the love of my life in October 2016. I am sooooo unbelievably happy and lucky to be Brian’s wife, but I want you all to know it was not an easy road to get here. Before meeting B, I had a really bad breakup with a guy I had dated for five years. Anyways, that obviously didn’t work out. So, what was a gal to do? Go on dates and enjoy the single life of course. Well, after five years with the same guy, I felt pretty rusty in the dating arena. Basically, I tried E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.!!!! I figured that I might as well go out and have fun, instead of sitting around moping about my breakup. So, off I went. From Plenty of Fish, to Tinder, to setups, to meeting guys at the bar….I did it all. Along the way, I had some pretty funny stories to tell….more than 40 of them to be exact. Yes, you heard that right, more than 40! That’s how many bad, hilarious dates I went on before I FINALLY met the ONE!!!! After the first one or two bad ones, I decided to chronicle my dating adventures because it was just too funny not to share. So ladies, listen up….you are not alone. I’ve been there, done that when it comes to dating. SO much so, that my family thinks I should write a book about it!! In the end, it all worked out because I never gave up hope that I would find the perfect guy for me. Even though, I had some crazy experiences…it was all worth every second and each bad date taught me something about myself or what I wanted out of life. So, I hope you tune in next Wednesday for episode 1! I hope at the least, it gives you a good chuckle! Hopefully, for you ladies on your own dating journey, it will let you know that you are not alone!

Last but not least, my outfit. I wore this a few days ago for a casual lunch date. If you live near a Loft, get there fast! This would be a perfect last minute look for a laid-back Easter outfit.  I love the marigold color of this skirt. It’s not my usual go to color, but it was so vibrant and rich that I had to try it out. I paired with a simple white tee and a denim jacket to keep the look casual. This skirt could easily be dressed up for work or even a date night out. Last, since I was going for a more a low key look, I decided to throw on a pair of my favorite lace up sandals from last year. Since they are no longer available, I linked some other options in the widget below. I could see this outfit looking really cute with some white converse as well.
