I’m back!!!! I am sooo excited to finally be back from a pretty long hiatus away from the blog. I was really missing sharing with you all, so I figured there isn’t a better time to kick it back off than the 2020 quarantine. Silver linings, am I right? Anywho, I thought I’d kick off my relaunch with my current reading list since I bet most of you are probably reading now more than ever! One of my favorite ways to unwind and relax is to read. There are so many good books out there to read right now, so I thought I’d share what books are top on my list! The first nine are fiction books and the last is a self improvement book by one of my fave authors. Click the book title to shop or the images at the bottom. If you have any other book recs for everyone, please leave them in the comments! As always, thanks for dropping by my little slice of the web. PS: I have some fun posts coming up and I can’t wait to share them. I hope you’ll follow along with me. If you have anything specific you’d like me to share about, please leave me a comment.

  1. The Wife Between Us: (currently reading and cannot put it down!) “When you read this book, you will make many assumptions. You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle. Assume nothing.” source: goodreads

Neighbors did all they could, holding fundraisers but no matter how many doctors, tests, or surgeries, no one could figure out what was wrong with Rose Gold. Turns out her mom, Patty Watts, was just a really good liar. After serving five years in prison, Patty begs her daughter to take her in. The entire community is shocked when Rose Gold says yes. And Rose Gold is no longer her weak little darling…And she’s waited such a long time for her mother to come home.” source: goodreads

So she flees Boston and rents an old home named Brodie’s Watch on a remote coastal peninsula of Maine, hoping to work on a cookbook inspired by New England cuisine that she’s been trying to finish for months. 9. The Haunting of Hill House: “First published in 1959, Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House has been hailed as a perfect work of unnerving terror. It is the story of four seekers who arrive at a notoriously unfriendly pile called Hill House: Dr. Montague, an occult scholar looking for solid evidence of a “haunting”; Theodora, the lighthearted assistant; Eleanor, a friendless, fragile young woman well acquainted with poltergeists; and Luke, the future heir of Hill House.
